Women's African belt. Combination of textile (cotton) and leather. Decorated with design cutouts. Handmade. Limited edition BUSHMAN.

The belts were made in South Africa, not far from Cape Town. Each of them passed through the hands of skilled craftsmen who have many years of experience and skills in hand sewing and leather processing. The belts are made from the skins of farmed animals, not from hunted game. But still animals. Their production complies with all international labor and ethical standards. We appreciate the true hand work done by each of our partners, and we designed and had the belts made in the limited edition BUSHMAN.

In line with this commitment, we take a very responsible approach to product safety and environmental protection. That is why we have created a Code of Environmental Compliance, which ensures that our suppliers comply with applicable EU legislation and other regulations governing the use of certain materials, chemicals, and manufacturing processes in the production of clothing for the BUSHMAN brand.

Our Responsibility to You
At BUSHMAN, product safety and quality are our top priorities. In accordance with the new European Union General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988 (GPSR), we ensure that all our products placed on the market after December 13, 2024, meet the required safety and information standards.

Product identification
Each BUSHMAN product is clearly identified by its style and colour number and production period. These markings allow for easy traceability in the event of a complaint or safety incident.

Materials and safety
• Composition: We list the exact fibre content for each product in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 1007/2011 on the labelling of textile fibres
• Chemical safety: We use materials that meet the requirements of Regulation (EU) No. 1907/2006 (REACH)
• Certification: Many of our materials are tested and certified according to the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.

Product care
Proper care extends the life of your clothing and ensures its safe use:
• Wash inside out at 30°C on a gentle cycle, or at 40°C if specified for the specific product
• Do not use bleach or fabric softener
• Do not tumble dry or dry clean
• For dark-coloured clothing, we recommend washing separately for the first time due to possible colour loss
• After use, please dispose of the clothing in a textile container

Warranty and returns
All our products are covered by a 2-year statutory warranty within the European Union and EEA. We also offer the option of returning or exchanging goods purchased from our e-shop within 14 days of purchase.We also offer the option of return or exchange within 30 days of purchase.

Declaration of Conformity
We hereby confirm that our products comply with the requirements of:
• Regulation (EU) 2023/988 (GPSR)
• Regulation (EU) No. 1007/2011 (textile fiber labeling)

All internal technical documentation, test reports, and risk assessments are stored in accordance with GPSR requirements and will be provided to the relevant authorities upon request.
