We have designed our PAWS women's espadrilles (or if you prefer, slip-ons) with the everyday Bushwoman in mind - in the woods or in the city, in the field or in the office. They're made from high quality cotton canvas with a touch of linen and we've wrapped 100% hemp round the sole - a great natural material that lasts a lot! You’ll appreciate the high-density polyurethane foam insole because it's nice and soft. While the original espadrilles had soles made of braided grass (giving them their name), ours are of much better quality. A special thermoplastic rubber has been used to make them: a lightweight, flexible material, pleasant to the touch, resistant to bending and to abrasion and cracking. It’s slip-resistant and, unlike conventional rubber, it’s also recyclable. You'll wear these spring-summer shoes once... and you'll want to wear them all the time, trust us!
