Velorex, nicknamed rag, rag plane, goose leg, Montgomery, bat, runaway pipes, or fleeing tent, became the only vehicle with a canvas body to be allowed on public roads in the world. Originally a limited number of tubular frames covered with leatherette by designers FrantiÅ¡ek and MojmÃr Stránský, it was manufactured at the Solnice Velodrome as a vehicle for the disabled and became famous in the Czech film ‚Vrchnà prchni‘.
