The UV Skin T-shirt has UPF 50+ protection, reflective elements and special face protection - a hood with a clip-on perforated ‘tunnel’. The catfish skin motif, typical of the entire VAGNER collection, is light-coloured this time; it's to keep you warm.
This men's UV Skin T-shirt complies with EU Regulation 2016/425. It provides protection from ultraviolet radiation and complies with AS/NZS 4399:2017. The UV Skin Printed Long Sleeve T-Shirt has been specially made from a material with a UV protection factor of 50+ and a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane. It thus provides effective protection against the harmful component of the sun's radiation and reliably protects you - not only when you go fishing.
The UPF number tells you how much UV radiation penetrates the garment. A factor of 50 means that only one fiftieth of the radiation that hits the fabric (2%) is transmitted. This means that the skin underneath will turn red in 50 times longer than it would without this protection, and 97.5 to 98% of the radiation is blocked.
However, for maximum protection, it is still advisable to use sunscreen at regular intervals to ensure 100% skin protection. Clothing does not protect uncovered parts of the body! Remember also that individual self-protection time varies depending on the intensity of the radiation, latitude, time of year and time of day, the weather and reflection of the radiation and also the extent of air pollution.
