ECOVERO™: When nature dresses in viscose

What is ECOVERO™?

The ECOVERO™ label is owned by the Austrian company LENZING AG, which understands that Nature is not an inexhaustible resource. Their fibres are made from wood sourced from certified and controlled forests, with every step of the production process taken into account. The production of ECOVERO™ viscose fibres generates 50% less CO₂ emissions and requires 50% less water.*
*Compared to generic (non-branded) viscose. The results are based on LCA standards (ISO 14040/44) and available via Higg MSI (version 3.7).
In addition, it is labelled with the EU Ecolabel, which is only awarded to products that demonstrate a low environmental impact throughout their entire life cycle. So you can be sure that this is not just a marketing gimmick.

•    ECOVER™ fibres are versatile – they can be combined with cotton, polyester, wool, silk, linen, acrylic and polyamide.
•    Clothes made from ECOVERO™ dry quickly and usually don't even need ironing. Just leave them to dry on a hanger and you're done.
•    And when these clothes have served their purpose? No stress! This viscose is compostable and biodegradable. It simply disappears without burdening the planet.

How to care for your ECOVERO™? 

Just like Nature – with gentleness. Wash clothes inside out at 30°C using a mild or special colour detergent. Leave to dry freely on a hanger (avoid tumble drying) and do not wash with bleach. Trust that it will reward you with its long life and consistently beautiful appearance. And an added bonus? If you hang ECOVERO™ viscose garments properly, you won't need to iron them! 😉
